Cencora/Innomar Privacy Breach Class Action

A proposed national class action has been filed in Vancouver on behalf of all Canadians whose personal information was compromised in the Cencora, Inc. and Innomar Strategies, Inc. privacy breach. The lawsuit is only on behalf of Canadian residents. It is alleged in the civil claim that:

  • Innomar provides patient support programs and clinic and nursing services to its customers across Canada who, in exchange, provide Innomar with their sensitive personal and health information. Innomar collects and stores the information on its servers.
  • Beginning in or about the month of January 2024, criminals gained access to Innomar’s servers and, through those servers, were able to access the personal information and personal health information of about 100,000 Canadians across the country.  After accessing the systems in January, the hackers began exfiltrating the data between February 6 and February 21, when they were finally stopped.
  • In or about the month of May 2024, Cencora began circulating a notice to its Canadian customers who were impacted by this privacy breach. You can view a copy of the redacted notice here.

Innomar customers who received the notice are eligible to participate in this class action. To receive updates please register with us by sending an email to info@charneylawyers.com.
