Veteran litigator/general counsel with over 35 years’ experience litigating complex, high stakes cases across the country including multiple class actions. Ted has appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada and the courts of appeal of BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Federal Court. Ted is an experienced trial lawyer and appellant counsel whose practice areas have included insurance defence, personal injury, commercial litigation, employment law and real estate. More recently his practice has been restricted to class proceedings. He has been lead counsel or co lead counsel in over 50 class proceedings across the country. In BC, Ted has appeared as class counsel in multiple class actions and is a member of the BC bar admitted in June 2021. Ted is also a member of the Ontario bar since 1987. He is counsel in over 300 decisions reported by major legal reporting services and/or CanLII.
